COVID-19 Guidelines for In-Person Pilates Classes
Considering the current global pandemic, we have made some changes to the way we are working to keep you and ourselves as safe as possible.
-
All classes must be pre-booked and paid for online. This is to aid contact tracing and minimising cash payments.
-
All clients will be asked to consent to a COVID-19 disclaimer when booking to attend an in-person class. This is to ensure clients are aware of the symptoms of COVID-19 and are not to attend class if any symptoms are present.
-
Clients will be asked to ensure social distancing at all times this includes waiting to enter the class.
-
There will only be 12 people allowed in the class spaced 2 meters apart. This number has been reached after measuring a 2-meter distance between mats.
-
Clients will need to provide their own equipment including a mat and small towel to use as a head block.
-
Clients will be asked to wear a face mask upon entering the class which is to be kept in place until they arrive at their designated spot.
-
Clients will be asked to use the hand sanitiser provided on entry and exit of the class.
-
The instructor will wear a face mask until class starts and when the class finishes. During the class verbal and visual feedback only will be given with no tactile feedback. In the event of an emergency the instructor will wear a face mask and visor to treat the client.
-
Where possible windows will be kept open to aid ventilation.
-
High contact areas will be cleaned with disinfectant wipes following the class.
-
In the unfortunate event that you miss a class you will still be charged however to ensure you are able to access a class weekly you will be provided with access to our online library of Pilates classes if required.
-
In the event of a local lockdown only participants who live within the borough will be able to attend in person classes.
