Founder & Highly Specialist Physiotherapist
Anthony Carter
Anthony is a Highly Specialist Physiotherapist who qualified from Cardiff University in 2003 further completing his MSc in Sports Physiotherapy in 2012. He has over 19 years of experience working across a variety of sports settings with amateur through to professional level athletes.
Throughout his career so far, he has held several prestigious positions working with a variety of sporting institutes including Aston Villa Football Club, GB Basketball, England Netball, Welsh Institute of Sport, Commonwealth games Team Wales 2014 & 2018, WRU under 20'S, Swim Wales, Sports Lead at Perform Birmingham and head of Performance rehabilitation and return to play at Osprey’s Rugby Club.

Alongside his early physiotherapy career, he had a successful career as a professional rugby player within Wales and the English Championship. This has given him a deeper understanding into the relationship between athletes and specialist multi-disciplinary support teams. Leading to a unique empathy to the many situational factors athletes face during training, performance and injury.

Following his rugby career, he now trains for and competes regularly in Ironman and Triathlon events.

Pippa Carter
Pippa qualified as a physiotherapist in 2008 and in 2010 completed her MSc in Sports Physiotherapy at Cardiff University with her research interest focused around dance medicine. Following this she presented her research in Singapore at the International Association for Dance Medicine and Science.

She has had the opportunity to work in a number of settings over the past 13 years from the NHS to the Private sector developing her skills in treating a variety of complex musculoskeletal and pelvic health conditions. She has had the opportunity to work with the Royal Ballet Company, leading West End theatre companies and with BBC productions such as Strictly Come Dancing.
Pippa's passion is the assessment and treatment of Pelvic health conditions. Over the past 7 years working within this field she has gained extensive skills and knowledge which allows her to deliver patient centred holistic care to really meet the needs of her patients. She has a special interest in the menopause and pelvic health conditions where she has written and delivered international Pilates teacher training courses on this topic.

Pippa is extremely passionate about Pilates and completed her training with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute in 2013. She uses Pilates on a daily basis both in a 1:1 setting and in group classes. She also works for the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute holding the prestigious post of Master Trainer. This role involves training others to become Pilates instructors and developing specialist training courses.
Strength and Conditioning Coach
Liam Thomas
Liam studied Sports Science in Swansea University before completing his Masters. His Masters by Research (MRes) project was embedded in elite sport. The study focused on lower limb asymmetry in professional Rugby Union players, identifying key metrics which raised significant correlations between both likelihood of injury and markers of performance. He went on to present his findings at the Pan-Wales Postgraduate Conference in Sport and Exercise Sciences in 2017.
Liam began his S&C career at Scarlets Rugby, progressing over 3 seasons to a junior S&C Coach with the senior team and leading aspects of the age-grade programme. Moving to Swansea City FC gave Liam a unique opportunity to work in a Premier League Academy before progressing into the senior team, working in all aspects of S&C and Sports Science alongside a multi-disciplinary team.
Over the past 5 seasons Liam has been at Ospreys Rugby working with the injured players, managing their journey back into rugby. His role involves all aspects of speed, strength, power and conditioning for the injured players, as well as specific positional groups. Liam has also led the backs programme for Wales U20 during their 2020 Six Nations campaign.

Liam shows the upmost dedication to his clients and is passionate about helping them to achieve their rehabilitation goals, working to deliver a collaborative approach through multidisciplinary practice.
Performance Nutritionist
Matthew Thomas
Matthew is a SENr & ISAK registered performance nutritionist with over 6 years working in professional sport and 11 years working in general population health and fitness.
He has an undergraduate degree in Sport & Exercise science from Swansea University and an MSc in Sport & Exercise nutrition from University of Ulster.
Additionally, Matthew is a published research author with studies published on the importance of a carbohydrate breakfast for endurance exercise performance in the European Journal of Sport Science. He has also been featured in Runner world magazine and Tail running magazine.
Currently, Matthew is a performance nutritionist in a top premier league football team, previously having worked with Ospreys RFC, along with hundreds of individual endurance, team sport and combat athletes.
Matthew has also competed in triathlons, high level rugby and is the former Junior Mr Britain bodybuilding champion.
Matthew is passionate about enhancing performance, well-being, and sport enjoyment through nutrition.
